  • Free hearing aid consultations: Hearing aid consultations are always free. These appointments are about an hour long and we will go over various hearing aids, what they sound like, what you can expect, and give you information on the different hearing aid styles.
  • Pediatric and adult hearing tests: We offer hearing tests to determine if you have hearing loss or not. We welcome patients of all ages as our audiologist can help anyone, even children.
  • Diagnostic evaluations: If we believe you have hearing loss, we will perform a full diagnostic evaluation to determine the type and degree of your hearing loss. This will also allow us to take a closer look at your ears and hearing concerns and refer you to an ENT if necessary.
  • Pediatric and adult hearing aid fittings: Our audiologist can expertly fit hearing aids for your unique hearing loss and lifestyle, no matter your age.
  • Vestibular testing: This is an evaluation for dizziness and vertigo to determine the cause of your dizziness, and if it is connected to your hearing loss.
  • Otoacoustic emissions: This is beneficial in the auditory evaluation of newborns and sometimes patients with tinnitus.
  • Hearing protection: We can make custom fit swimmer's plugs, ear plugs for noise protection, sleep plugs, and in-house swim plugs for children so you can receive them in the same day.
  • Government contracts: We have veterans and army-readiness programs to help those in the military with hearing loss.
  • Workman’s comp: We work with people in the community who may have experienced hearing loss because of their occupation, such as firefighters and the Atlanta police department.
  • Standard hearing aid repair services in-house: We can make repairs on your hearing aids the same day you bring them in, so you never have to go a day without hearing.
  • Bundled services: We offer bundled services for patients who need help taking care of their hearing aids. Bundled, services are always free for the life of the hearing aid. If you feel confident cleaning and servicing your hearing aids yourself, then we can unbundle the services which will lower the cost.

Helping Patients with Tinnitus

Tinnitus, commonly known as ringing in the ears, is when you hear noises that are not externally present. Tinnitus is usually an annoying humming, ringing, or whistling sound that you hear, most often when it is quiet. Patients who have hearing loss as well as tinnitus may experience the symptoms more persistently because they are constantly in a quiet world because of their hearing loss. For those who do not have hearing loss, tinnitus symptoms can worsen at night because the world becomes quieter.

If you suspect you have tinnitus then come see us for an audiological evaluation. We can determine if there is any damage to the cochlear nerve or hair cells and perform a hearing test along with high-frequency OAEs to see if there is anything present that doesn’t show in your audiogram. We can also refer you to the ENT to ensure it’s not sinus-related or another issue they could diagnose and treat. Although there is no cure for tinnitus, we can help you feel more in control over it. We will give you information regarding your tinnitus and will help you reduce the trigger symptoms.

Vestibular Testing

Vestibular Testing at Atlanta ENT in Atlanta, GA

We perform testing for dizziness, balance issues, and vertigo. We have videonystagmography (VNG) equipment and do mapping for balance issues that are often connected to the inner ear. Our audiologist, Dr. Prince, has a background in both hearing aids and vestibular disorders, gait issues, and balance disorders. At Atlanta ENT, we are able to assess the cause of your dizziness. If you experience nausea, the feeling of spinning, or balance issues, then come see us so we can perform diagnostic testing. We will determine if it is the peripheral balance system that is causing you to feel dizzy, and if it’s not, then we will refer you to another specialist. We are able to assess your dizziness, identify the cause, and give you the proper care you need. We have been able to successfully treat many cases of vertigo for patients. By working with the ENTs we are able to do full-scan MRIs and CT scans in-office.

We provide all-encompassing ear care. We are connected to physical therapists in our building in case you need vestibular physical therapy, so we can refer you if needed right in the same location. We understand how it feels to be dizzy and to have trouble with your balance. We want to help you feel your best again. Come to Atlanta ENT where we have cohesive care all in one place, so you don’t have to go to different facilities to find help. We want to help you experience an improved quality of life.
